解曰：布施等者，由無貪等善根相應攝取眾生，義如前解，方便化也。從此第二明四無量。

Exposition: "Giving," and so forth: through corresponding with wholesome roots such as non-greed, they gather in sentient beings; the meaning is as explained before, which is transforming through skillful means. Second from here is explaining the four immeasurables.
