解曰：初地菩薩往百佛剎、二地往千、三地往萬，利益安樂彼等生故。從此第三明順忍位。文三如前，且初第一標忍辨位。

Commentary: A bodhisattva of the first bhūmi goes to one hundred buddha-lands, of the second bhūmi to one thousand, and of the third bhūmi to ten thousand, to benefit and bring peace and happiness to those sentient beings. Hereafter, the third [section] explains the stage of compliant kṣānti. The text has three parts as before; first, the first designates the kṣānti and distinguishes the stages.
