解曰：七地菩薩住百億佛剎、八地住百萬微塵數佛剎、九地住百萬億阿僧祇微塵數佛剎，往彼等土現不可說身，隨類饒益諸眾生故。從此第五明寂滅忍。文三如前，且初第一標忍辨位。

Commentary: A bodhisattva of the seventh bhūmi abides in ten billion buddha-lands; of the eighth bhūmi, in buddha-lands numbering as many as atoms in a million worlds; of the ninth bhūmi, in buddha-lands numbering as many as atoms in a hundred trillion asaṃkhyeyas of worlds. Going to those lands, they manifest ineffable bodies to benefit all sentient beings according to their categories. Hereafter, the fifth [section] explains quiescent kṣānti. The text has three parts as before; first, the first designates the kṣānti and distinguishes the stages.
