解曰：五忍如前。言功德者，菩薩所修萬行功德。妙法門者，從凡至聖深妙法門。十四菩薩者，三賢、十地及以等覺，為十四也。能諦了者，見解證修能諦了矣。從此第二明因果異。

The commentary states: The five kṣāntis are as explained before. As for "virtues," they are the virtues of the myriad practices cultivated by the bodhisattvas. As for "wondrous Dharma gate," it is the profound and wondrous Dharma gate leading from ordinary beings to the noble ones. As for "fourteen bodhisattvas," these are the three stages of worthiness, the ten bhūmis, and equal enlightenment, which constitute fourteen. As for "capable of clearly understanding," they are able to clearly understand through vision and understanding, realization and practice. Next, the second part clarifies the distinction between cause and result.
