解曰：此地菩薩必能進入後不動地法駛流也。永無分段者，自此已前容有分段，受三界生；今此地中功用分段最後邊故。超諸有者，無漏定願資彼勝身，令所感報漸漸增勝，乃至等覺受變易生，超三有故。從此第三明所斷障。

The commentary states: A bodhisattva of this bhūmi will definitely be able to advance into the swift stream of the Dharma of the subsequent Immovable bhūmi. 'Forever free of fractional [birth]': before this, there was still the possibility of fractional [birth], undergoing birth in the three realms; now in this bhūmi is the final limit of purposeful fractional [birth]. 'Transcends the realms of existence': untainted absorption and vows sustain that superior body, causing the karmic retribution that is experienced to become gradually more exalted, up until equal enlightenment, undergoing transformational birth and transcending the three realms of existence. Hereafter, the third part clarifies the obstacles that are severed.
