The commentary explains: The word 'primary' means superior and unequalled. The word 'non-dual' means that suchness and cognition are not distinct. The phrase 'neither having marks' means not identical with visible forms. 'Nor lacking marks' means not identical with a rabbit's horns. 'Without self and without other' means: the manifested responsive and transformative bodies differ as superior and inferior, yet with the dharmatā-kāya there is neither self nor other. 'Without coming and without going' means: manifesting to respond to beings, they show coming and going, yet their essence is eternally motionless, without coming or going. From here, the third part concludes that it is like empty space.
