The commentary explains: Stillness does not contradict motion; in motion it is ever quiescent; precisely in motion it is still, because it is like empty space. From here, the second division explains the bodhisattvas' objects and cognition. In this, there are two parts: 1. Contemplating emptiness directly through the object; 2. Contemplating emptiness directly through cognition. In the first, through the object, the text is divided into two: 1. Contemplating emptiness in specific characteristics; 2. Contemplating emptiness in general characteristics. In the first, on specific characteristics, the text is divided into two: first, contemplating emptiness directly through phenomena; later, contemplating emptiness directly through feeling. In the first, through phenomena, the text is again divided into three parts. First, the first indicates non-arising and non-cessation.
