解曰：聞忍之時，同名菩薩與諸大眾，即〈序品〉中所列大眾，悉皆歡躍。從此第二明見諸佛。

The commentary states: When hearing of the kṣāntis, the bodhisattvas of the same name together with the great assembly—namely, the great assembly enumerated in the "Introductory Chapter"—all rejoiced and leaped for joy. Second, following upon this, is clarifying their seeing the buddhas.
