解曰：由聞法故，各得勝進。若劫外者，進得伏忍，三賢位也。空無生忍者，空謂三空，及無生忍，此之二忍通別如前。言一地者，即初地也，乃至勝進至十地故。一生補處者，如《瑜伽》說，知足天身，補處尊故。

The commentary explains: Because of hearing the Dharma, each attained superior advancement. If they were outside of kalpas, they advanced and attained the suppressing kṣānti, which is the level of the three stages of worthiness. As for 'empty and non-arising kṣāntis', 'empty' refers to the three emptinesses, together with the non-arising kṣānti; the general and specific meanings of these two kṣāntis are as discussed before. 'The first bhūmi' refers to the initial bhūmi, up to advancing progressively to the tenth bhūmi. As for 'being bound to one more rebirth', as the Yogācāra[bhūmi] says, this refers to having the body of a Tuṣita deva, being an honoured one bound to one more rebirth.
