解曰：修實相者，牒能修人。如文字修，示所修法。文字所說理事皆如，如文字修，得實相故。從此第二明是智母。

Explanation: "One who cultivates the true mark" reiterates the person who can cultivate. "Cultivates in accordance with letters" points out the Dharma that is cultivated. The principle and phenomena expounded by letters are both suchness; cultivating in accordance with letters enables one to attain the true mark. Next, the second section explains that it is the mother of cognition.
