解曰：於諸等者，明取一偈分為千也。復於千等者，明說一分尚無窮盡，何況等者，況多佛說無量句義，所有功德而能測量？從此第三明受持勝。於中分二：初明受持勝、後當得菩提。初文復二：且初第一明受持勝。

Commentary: Regarding "from among all," and so forth: this clarifies taking a single verse and dividing it into a thousand. Regarding "and then from among the thousand," and so forth: this clarifies that expounding a single part is still inexhaustible. Regarding "how much more so," and so forth: how could one measure all the merits of the immeasurable phrases and meanings spoken by so many buddhas? Hereafter is the third section, clarifying that receiving and upholding is supreme. This is divided into two: first, clarifying that receiving and upholding is supreme; later, that one will attain bodhi. The first text is further divided into two: first, clarifying that receiving and upholding is supreme.
