解曰：如汝所說者，如《四分律》，不與過願，清淨可辨。此願見聞，義不違彼，故佛印云如汝所說。從此第二讚法出生。

Explanation: 'It is just as you have spoken': as in the *Dharmaguptaka-vinaya*, excessive vows are not granted, and purity can be distinguished. Since this vow to see and hear does not contradict that principle, the Buddha approved it, saying 'It is just as you have spoken'. Next is the second [part]: praising the Dharma's bringing forth.
