解曰：若至忍位者，謂修十善，上品成滿，發菩提心。如前不退，名至忍位。入正定聚者，入謂進入也。即此忍位名正定聚，不同小乘。《俱舍》第十「正性離生，名正定故。」下之兩句，明不造逆，非闡提故。從此第二明忍所治。

The commentary explains: "If one reaches the stage of kṣānti" means cultivating the ten virtues to upper-grade completion and generating the bodhicitta. Not regressing as before is called "reaching the stage of kṣānti." "Enters the group of proper determination": "enters" means to advance into. This very stage of kṣānti is called the group of proper determination, which is not like the Hīnayāna. The tenth fascicle of the Kośa says: "Separation from the birth [of defilements] through proper nature is called proper determination." The two lines below clarify that one does not commit heinous sins, because one is not an icchantika. From here, the second part clarifies what is remedied by the kṣānti.
