3.244

解行名者，善修止品得勝等持，名離散亂行，定為自性也。生死無亂者，如經說云「於世間中死此生彼、入住出胎，皆無癡亂。」禪定行也。從此第六明善現行。

Explaining the name of the practice: Skillfully cultivating the category of calming (śamatha) and obtaining superior samādhi is called the practice of freedom from distraction; concentration is its intrinsic nature. "No confusion in saṃsāra": as the sūtra says: "In the world, dying here and being born there, entering, abiding in, and emerging from the womb, all are without delusion or confusion." This is the practice of meditative concentration. From here, the sixth clarifies the practice of skillful manifestation.
