解曰：此位長時，於前一上加一劫故。行諸勝行者，結此十行。得堅忍位者，得入後位。從此第三明道種性。文三如前，且初第一標位辨相。

Explanation: This stage lasts a long time, because one kalpa is added to the preceding one. 'Practicing all the superior practices' concludes these ten practices. 'Attain the stage of firm kṣānti' means that they enter the subsequent stage. Hereafter is the third [section], which explains the lineage of the Path. The text has three parts as before; first, designating the stage and discerning its characteristics.
