解曰：行於生死者，利生處也。魔不能動者，謂四魔也，煩惱、蘊、死及以天魔，如上〈序品〉已廣分別。如《佛地論》第一云「初地已上諸大菩薩，在淨土中，離麁四魔，無五怖畏。」從此第二離諸怖畏。

The commentary explains: "Faring in saṃsāra" is the place of benefiting sentient beings. "Māra cannot shake them" refers to the four māras: afflictions, the skandhas, death, and Devamāra, as have been broadly distinguished above in the introductory chapter. As the Buddhabhūmi-śāstra, fascicle one, says: "All great bodhisattvas from the first bhūmi upward dwell in the pure land, free from the coarse four māras and devoid of the five terrors." Hereafter, the second part is leaving all terrors.
