解曰：明所依忍。長養聖胎、堅固不退信位及心，結三不退。從此第二別明十地。文有其十：且初第一明歡喜地。
Commentary: This clarifies the kṣānti relied upon. Nurturing the sacred embryo, making firm and non-retrogressing the stage of faith and the minds, concludes the three non-retrogressions. Next is the second [part], which individually clarifies the ten bhūmis. The text has ten parts: first is clarifying the Pramuditā-bhūmi (Joyful Ground).
