解曰：般若波羅蜜多者，示法體也。次彰佛母，諸菩薩母，解脫法故。次諸國王願護國者，無上法寶，無與等也。後一切有情若稱其名，若復於經受持讀誦，定出離故。從此第二舉喻釋成。於中分三：初總明喻體、次別顯勝德、後結申般若。且初第一總彰喻體。

Exposition: 'Prajñāpāramitā' indicates the substance of the teaching. Next, it reveals that it is the mother of the buddhas and the mother of the bodhisattvas, because it is the dharma of liberation. Next, for the kings who vow to protect their states, it is the supreme jewel of Dharma, without equal. Finally, for all sentient beings, if they recite its name, or accept, uphold, read, and recite this sūtra, they will certainly attain transcendence. From here on is the second, citing an analogy to explain and establish it. In this there are three parts: first, generally clarifying the vehicle of the analogy; next, separately revealing its superior virtues; later, concluding by applying it to prajñā.
