Explanation: This means that this prajñā possesses the manifold virtues mentioned before: it can subdue [afflictions], inspire faith and understanding in all sentient beings, and suppress the evil dragons of the three poisons and the ghosts of the five views. Furthermore, if one upholds, recites, and chants it, all that one seeks—official positions, wealth, wise sons and daughters, freedom in moving about, and the retributions of humans and gods—will fulfill people's wishes and all be satisfied. Furthermore, this is precisely the supreme wish-fulfilling jewel of bodhi and nirvāṇa belonging to the kings of Dharma, the buddhas, because it flows forth equally from the pure dharmadhātu. Furthermore, all bodhisattvas raise clouds of great compassion, broadly showering the Dharma of sweet dew for sentient beings throughout all worlds, gathering them in and benefiting them according to their capacities, so that all are moistened. Furthermore, this serves as a precious torch and lamp of wisdom in the great darkness of the long night of saṃsāra, causing those who uphold it to produce the three kinds of wisdom and dispelling the darkness of ignorance like the shining of the sun. The words "is also like this" reveal its possession of these virtues. Hereafter is the second section: concluding by exhorting its reverent observance. This has four parts; first is the exhortation to offer proper worship.
