解曰：此云所為，古云即說。從此第二廣明觀行，有十六句。於中分三：初十二句別明因位、次有兩句總明果位、後有兩句明佛菩薩母。初明因中，文分為四：一明本後智、二明實相智、三明二利智、四明大普賢地。初本後智，文分為二：一根本智、二後得智。初中復二：且初第一明智燈句。

Explanation: Here it is translated as "that is to say"; anciently it was translated as "namely, it says". From here, the second [part] broadly explains the contemplative practice, which has sixteen phrases. Within this it divides into three: the first twelve phrases separately explain the causal stage; the next two phrases generally explain the fruition stage; the last two phrases explain the mother of the buddhas and bodhisattvas. In the first, explaining the causal stage, the text divides into four: first, explaining the fundamental and subsequent cognitions; second, explaining the cognition of the real mark; third, explaining the cognition of the two benefits; fourth, explaining the stage of the great Samantabhadra. First, the fundamental and subsequent cognitions divides into two: first, the fundamental cognition; second, the subsequently attained cognition. In the first there are again two: first, the phrase on the lamp of cognition.
