Explanation: "Bodhicitta" means here "the mind of right enlightenment." "Sañjanani" means here "able to generate." Following the idiom of this land, it means that the aforementioned pariniṣpanna of the three times can generate the bodhicitta. The Yoga commentary states: "The syllable bo is the seed-syllable. The syllable bo expresses the meaning that all phenomena are without bondage. If one knows that the self-nature of the bodhicitta of one's own body is achieved and equal across the three times, like empty space free from all characteristics, one can then thoroughly understand that the minds of all sattvas and the minds of all buddhas are, just like one's own mind, originally pure. One then gives rise to great compassion, deeply producing tender pity, using various skillful means to cause all sattvas to be liberated from suffering and to attain the ultimate state of being without bondage and without liberation—this is the vast bodhicitta." Next, the second [phrase] clarifies the line on empowerment (abhiṣeka).
