解曰:言阿字者,上聲短呼。言暮伽者,此云無間斷,古譯云不空者謬也。室囉嚩儜者,此云間也。順此方言,於諸佛所無間聽聞。《瑜伽》釋云「今依聲論釋無間者,阿字為種子者,詮一切法本來寂靜、本來涅槃。由證此法,遍周法界諸佛剎土大集會中,於諸佛前所聞教法悉皆憶持永不忘故。」從此第四明大普賢地句。

Explanation: The syllable a is in the rising tone and pronounced short. The word "mogha" means uninterrupted; the older translation rendering it as "not empty" (amogha) is mistaken. "Śravaṇe" means here "intervening / listening." Following the idiom of this land, it means uninterrupted listening in the presence of all buddhas. The Yoga commentary states: "Now explaining 'uninterrupted' based on the science of grammar: the syllable a is the seed-syllable, expressing that all phenomena are originally tranquil and originally nirvāṇa. Because of realizing this dharma, throughout the great assemblies in all buddha-lands across the entire dharmadhātu, one remembers and retains everything heard of the teachings before all buddhas, never forgetting them." Next, the fourth section clarifies the line on the great ground of Samantabhadra.
