經：佛告波斯匿王：「今誡汝等，吾滅度後正法欲滅，後五十年、後五百年、後五千年無佛法僧，此經三寶付諸國王建立守護。」

Sūtra: The Buddha told King Prasenajit: "I now admonish you all: after my parinirvāṇa, when the true Dharma is about to perish, in the later fifty years, the later five hundred years, and the later five thousand years when there will be no Buddha, Dharma, or Saṅgha, this sūtra and the Three Jewels are entrusted to the kings of states to establish and safeguard."
