解曰：言四部者，出家在家各二如上。言出離者，三乘修習皆出生死。從此第二廣明諸誡。於中分三：初廣明諸誡、次諸王敬承、後大眾傷歎。初明諸誡，文分為七：第一自恃破滅誡。文復分三：且初第一標建立人。

Explanation: "The fourfold assemblies" refers to the two monastic and two lay [groups], as stated above. "To transcend" means that cultivation and practice of the three vehicles all lead out of birth and death. Next is the second major part, fully clarifying the various admonitions. It is divided into three: first, fully clarifying the various admonitions; second, the kings reverently accepting them; third, the great assembly lamenting with sorrow. The first part, clarifying the various admonitions, is divided into seven. The first is the admonition against self-conceit leading to destruction. This again has three parts: first, identifying the persons who ought to establish [the Dharma].
