解曰：此經名者，初即仁王請問，從請主以標名。次即依德，彰能愈生死之疾。深累尚遣，況淺近災咎而不滅者乎？從此第三明經功德。

Exposition: As for 'the name of this sūtra', first, because the Benevolent King made the request, the title is designated after the requester. Next, based on its virtue, it shows that it can cure the illnesses of birth and death. If profound burdens are still dispelled, how much more so shallow and near calamities and misfortunes—how could they not be eliminated? From here, the third [part] explains the merits of the sūtra.
