2.101

贊曰：前說法、義二持，雖勸信學；欲令神用速備，更說呪持。佛以大劫慧、悲難修誓行，加略文字，意趣深遠，教理幽廣，不易詳贊。

The Praise says: The preceding spoke of the two retentions of teaching and meaning, and although it encouraged faith and study, in order to make the spiritual function swiftly complete, it further speaks of the retention of incantation. With the vow and practice of wisdom and compassion so difficult to cultivate across great kalpas, the Buddha added concise words; the intent is profound and far-reaching, the doctrine and principle subtle and vast, not easy to praise in full detail.
