2.21

據實照空亦度惑、業，體寬現果唯說度苦。即此空相，資糧位中聞、思等照，初十心位第六心後信心不退，不斷善根，便永伏度極重苦厄，故經頌言：

In truth, illuminating emptiness also transcends defilements and karma; its substance being broad, only transcending suffering is stated in terms of present results. In this very mark of emptiness, through illumination via hearing, reflection, and so forth in the stage of provisions, after the sixth mind of the initial ten minds, faith does not regress and wholesome roots are not severed, so that one forever subdues and transcends extremely severe suffering and distress. Therefore, a sūtra verse says:
