此即第二類釋四蘊,皆有四句,四句相即,準上應知。又解,此經自有兩本,一本如上;一本經曰「受、想、行、識等,亦復如是」,所言「等」者,準下經文,有六善巧,謂蘊、處、界、緣生、四諦、菩提、涅槃,今舉四蘊等餘五門,皆有四句,故說等言。六門義別,後當分別。
This is the second part, analogously explaining the [remaining] four aggregates: each has four phrases, and the identity of the four phrases should be understood by analogy with the above. Another explanation: this sūtra exists in two recensions. One recension is as above; another recension of the sūtra states: "Sensation, perception, volition, consciousness, and so forth are also like this." The word 'and so forth', by analogy with the text below, refers to the six dexterous skills: aggregates, bases, elements, conditioned arising, the four noble truths, and bodhi and nirvāṇa. Now, by raising the four aggregates to encompass the other five gates, all of which have the four phrases, it says 'and so forth'. The distinctions among the meanings of the six gates will be analyzed below.
