1.46

第三廢立有其三義，一、約定遍廢立諸支，二、約開合分別諸支，三、約世、地辨其同異。約支廢立者，如《成唯識》第八卷說。

Third, establishing and omitting has three aspects: first, establishing and omitting the branches according to necessity and pervasiveness; second, distinguishing the branches according to expansion and contraction; third, discerning their agreements and differences according to periods and planes. Establishing and omitting according to branches is as explained in the eighth fascicle of the Vijñaptimātratāsiddhi.
