1.78

問：「既爾，斷彼寧得涅槃？」答：「非諸涅槃皆擇滅攝。不爾，性淨應非涅槃。」有說亦是擇滅所攝，廣說如彼。

Question: "If so, how does severing it yield nirvāṇa?" Answer: "Not all nirvāṇas are subsumed under analytical cessation. Were it not so, the inherently pure [nirvāṇa] would not be nirvāṇa." Some say it is also subsumed under analytical cessation, as explained extensively therein.
