"The light from between his eyebrows": down from this there are fifty lines of verse, which are the second [part], extensively reiterating in verse the concise question in the prose above regarding seeing the auspicious signs of other lands. In evaluating these fifty verses, there are two methods in all; for now, relying on the prose, it is initially divided into two parts. First, "The light from between his eyebrows," one verse and a half, reiterates the cause of seeing the auspicious signs above; this light is not an auspicious sign of another land, but it is by means of this light that one sees the auspicious signs of other lands. Second, the remaining forty-eight lines and a half reiterate the second [part], the formal question regarding seeing the auspicious signs of other lands. It reiterates only five kinds of auspicious signs, concisely omitting the fourth auspicious sign.
