「從而今不知是義所趣者」，第二正明起疑，而今不知我昔日所行道諦，為當只趣此解脫果？為更有所趣？上來皆是經家述其疑意。

From “And now we do not know whither this principle tends,” this is the second part, which directly clarifies the arising of doubt: ‘And now we do not know whether the truth of the path that we practiced in past days simply tends toward this fruit of liberation, or whether it tends toward something further.’ All of the above constitutes the scripture-compiler’s narration of their doubtful intent.
