From 'The dharmas attained by all Buddhas' below, there are one hundred and nine lines and three phrases of verse, which is the second [part] of the verse, versing the second, correct exposition by dharma, in the prose above. But within the correct exposition by dharma above there were originally two: first, extensively clarifying opening the three and revealing the One in terms of the approach of all Buddhas; second, extensively clarifying opening the three and revealing the One in terms of the approach of Śākya. Now these one hundred and nine lines and three phrases of verse are also divided into two: first, there are seventy-three lines and one phrase versing the opening the three and revealing the One in the approach of all Buddhas above; from 'Now I also am like this' below, there are thirty-six and a half lines versing the opening the three and revealing the One in the approach of Śākya. But within 'all Buddhas' above there were originally four Buddhas: first, universally opening the three and revealing the One in the approach of all Buddhas; second, clarifying the opening the three and revealing the One of past Buddhas; third, the opening the three and revealing the One of future Buddhas; fourth, the opening the three and revealing the One of present Buddhas. Now the seventy-three lines and one phrase are also divided into four: first, there are thirty-four lines and three phrases versing the universal approach of all Buddhas above; second, from 'In incalculable kalpas of the past' below, there are twenty-seven and a half lines of verse versing the second, the approach of past Buddhas, above; third, from 'All the World-Honoured Ones of the future' below, there are six and a half lines of verse versing the approach of future Buddhas above; fourth, from 'Those worshipped by devas and humans' below, there are four and a half lines of verse versing the fourth, the approach of present Buddhas, above. Within the universal approach of all Buddhas above there were originally four meanings: first, praising the rarity of the Dharma; second, clarifying that it is not false; third, clarifying opening the three; fourth, clarifying revealing the One. Now it does not verse the first, praising the rarity of the Dharma, because in these verses it additionally adduces the five turbidities to explain the intent of the three first and the One later.
