「長者見子得出火宅」此下有三句，即頌第五見子出難譬也。上譬中有二，一者先明斷惑出三界得無學果，二者正明大乘機發。初二句先頌無學果也，「住於四衢」一句正頌大乘機發也。

From “The elder saw his sons manage to escape the burning house” downward, there are three lines, which versify the fifth parable, of seeing the sons escape the disaster. In the parable above there were two [parts]: first, clarifying the severing of delusions, escaping the three realms, and attaining the fruit of the non-learner; second, directly clarifying the emergence of capacity for the Great Vehicle. The first two lines first versify the fruit of the non-learner; the single line “standing at the crossroads” directly versifies the emergence of capacity for the Great Vehicle.
