今且明初段中自有四階：第一正明普賢從東方來；第二「所逕諸國土」下，明神通之相；第三「又與」下，明普賢眷屬之相也；第四「到娑婆」下明至佛所致敬也。

Now, to clarify briefly, the first section naturally has four steps: first, properly clarifying that Samantabhadra came from the east; second, from "The lands he passed through" onward, clarifying the characteristics of supernormal powers; third, from "Furthermore, with..." onward, clarifying the characteristics of Samantabhadra's retinue; fourth, from "Arriving in the Sahā [world]" onward, clarifying his arrival at the Buddha's dwelling to pay homage.
