8.73

今且就此品中大判為四段：第一是宿王華作問也，第二如來答也，第三經家序說此品中得利益，第四明多寶讚歎時眾中宿王華能問也。中有三：第一正問藥王難行苦行事；第二「善哉世尊願少解說」一句，請說；第三「諸天龍神」下，出所為徒眾也。

Now, within this chapter, it is broadly divided into four sections: first, Nakṣatrarājasankusumitābhijña poses questions; second, the Tathāgata replies; third, the compiler of the sūtra recounts the benefits gained during this chapter; fourth, Prabhūtaratna praises Nakṣatrarājasankusumitābhijña among the assembly for being able to question. In [the first] there are three [parts]: first, directly asking about the difficult and ascetic practices of Bhaiṣajyarāja; second, the phrase "Excellent, World-Honoured One, please explain a little", requesting the explanation; third, from "the devas, nāgas, and spirits" below, indicating the audience for whose sake it is asked.
