In the third [part], jointly concluding the two knowledges of the Buddhas, there are two: First, "accomplished the profoundly deep, unprecedented dharmas": this concludes the real knowledge above, stating that the wisdom of the Buddhas is profoundly deep and immeasurable. Second, "expounding in accordance with what is suitable, their intention is difficult to understand": this concludes the expedient knowledge above, stating that the gate to their wisdom is difficult to understand and difficult to enter. Why does it say "in accordance with what is suitable"? This expedient knowledge can accord with what is suitable for beings: according with what is suitable for śrāvaka persons, it speaks of suffering, accumulation, cessation, and the path; likewise, according with what is suitable for pratyekabuddha persons, it speaks of the twelve links of dependent origination; likewise, according with what is suitable for bodhisattva persons, it speaks of the six pāramitās. Hence it is said to be in accordance with what is suitable.
