From "At that time, that Buddha accepted the śrāmaṇeras' request" below is the third, clarifying that the Buddha Mahābhijñājñānābhibhū accepted the princes' request and preached the Lotus Sūtra. There are also three tiers: first, directly clarifying that the Buddha Mahābhijñājñānābhibhū accepted the princes' request and preached the Lotus Sūtra; second, from "having preached this sūtra" below, clarifying that the assembly at that time had different receptive awakenings; third, stating again that "The Buddha preached this sūtra for eight thousand kalpas without ever resting," clarifying the number of kalpas during which the Dharma was preached at that time.
