此義今當說，先對五章，次解四悉檀。世界悉檀對釋名。名該一部，世界亦冠於三。第一義對體，最分明。為人對宗，宗論因果，為人生善，義同。對治對用，用破疑滯，與治病事齊。分別悉檀對教相，教相如後說。

This meaning shall now be explained. First, we match them against the five headings; next, we explain the four siddhāntas. The worldly siddhānta matches explaining the title. The title encompasses an entire work, and the worldly [siddhānta] likewise crowns the [other] three. The supreme-truth [siddhānta] matches the substance, being the most distinct. The [siddhānta] for individuals matches the central purport; the central purport discusses cause and effect, and producing good in people is identical in meaning. The therapeutic [siddhānta] matches the function; the function shatters doubts and obstructions, which is equivalent to the curing of illness. The distinguishing siddhāntas match classifying the teachings; the characteristics of the teachings will be explained later.
