單說假人即為人。《論》：「或說有人，或說無人。」單說實法即對治。《論》：「對治則有，實性則無。」雙非假實即第一義。《論》：「言語道斷，心行亦訖。」（云云）。

Speaking solely of the provisional person is [the siddhānta] for individuals. The *Treatise* says: "Sometimes it says there is a person, sometimes it says there is no person." Speaking solely of real dharmas is the therapeutic [siddhānta]. The *Treatise* says: "It exists therapeutically, but does not exist in its real nature." Negating both the provisional and the real is the supreme truth. The *Treatise* says: "The path of speech is cut off, and the movement of the mind is also finished," and so forth.
