10.105

若《法華》顯露邊論不見在前；祕密邊論，理無障礙。故身子云：「我昔從佛聞如是法，見諸菩薩受記作佛。」豈非證昔通記之文。

As for the Lotus Sūtra, in terms of the manifest aspect, it is not seen prior; in terms of the secret aspect, in principle there is no obstruction. Hence Śāriputra says: 'Formerly, from the Buddha I heard such dharma, and saw all the bodhisattvas receive vyākaraṇa to become Buddhas.' Is this not a passage proving that vyākaraṇa extended generally to the past?
