10.127

次約五法論開合者，即是五味。從初十二部開修多羅，乃至涅槃，教教論五味。從初五味開諸五味，細細漸合，還歸圓滿五味。

Next, discussing opening and merging in terms of five dharmas: this refers to the five flavors. From the initial twelve divisions, one opens the sūtras, up to the *Nirvāṇa-sūtra*; each teaching is discussed through the five flavors. From the initial five flavors, one opens the various five flavors, gradually merging in fine succession, returning to the complete and perfect five flavors.
