次難假名宗者，指《成實論》觀三假浮虛，乃是世諦事法，非彼論宗。彼論見空得道，應用空為宗。又《釋論》明三藏中空門，無假名門，若指彼義，應用彼宗，既別立名，則非見空得道（云云）。

Next, I critique the nominal designation tenet: this refers to the Tattvasiddhi-śāstra's contemplation of the three nominal designations as insubstantial and empty, yet these are phenomenal dharmas of worldly truth, not the tenet of that treatise. That treatise attains the way by perceiving emptiness, so it ought to take emptiness as its tenet. Furthermore, the Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa clarifies an emptiness-gate among the three piṭakas, but no nominal designation gate; if one refers to that meaning, one ought to employ that tenet. Since a distinct name is established, it is not the attainment of the way through perceiving emptiness (and so forth).
