Or three kinds being expressible is crude, and one being expressible is subtle. Or three being ineffable is crude, and one being ineffable is subtle. Or all four being expressible is crude, and all four being ineffable is subtle. Or in all four being expressible there is crude and there is subtle. Or in all four being ineffable there is crude and there is subtle. Or all four being expressible are neither crude nor subtle. Or all four being ineffable are neither crude nor subtle. Various formulations such as these are all decisively resolved into the subtle, opening the provisional and revealing the real. All four being ineffable is the loftiness of rank. All four being expressible is the breadth of substance. All four being both expressible and ineffable is the longevity of function. All four being neither expressible nor ineffable is neither lofty nor broad, neither long nor short, neither one nor different, universally termed subtle.
