釋迦值迦葉，即是二生菩薩，云何始解二諦？爾前復不應墮惡道！

When Śākyamuni encountered Kāśyapa, he was already a bodhisattva of two [remaining] lifetimes; how could he only then understand the two truths? Furthermore, prior to that he should not have fallen into the evil destinies!
