2.75

智妙者，所謂二十智，四菩提智，下、中、上、上上，七權實，五三智，一如實智，以境妙故，智亦隨妙。以法常故，諸佛亦常。函蓋相稱，境智不可思議，故稱智妙。

The subtlety of wisdom: this refers to the twenty wisdoms, the four bodhi-wisdoms, inferior, middling, superior, and supreme, the seven provisional and real, the five threefold wisdoms, and the one wisdom of suchness. Because the object is subtle, wisdom is also correspondingly subtle. Because the Dharma is eternal, the buddhas are also eternal. The box and lid fit each other; object and wisdom are inconceivable, and therefore it is called the subtlety of wisdom.
