四種十二因緣者，〈化城品〉明生滅十二緣。〈譬喻品〉但離虛妄，是不生十二緣。〈方便品〉云：「佛種從緣起」，是界外無量、無作兩種十二緣。

As for the four kinds of twelvefold causal conditions: the 'Chapter on the Conjured City' clarifies the twelve causal conditions of arising and ceasing. The 'Chapter on the Parable' speaks of merely departing from delusion, which is the twelve causal conditions of non-arising. The 'Chapter on Expedient Means' says, 'The Buddha-seeds arise from conditions,' which refers to the two kinds of twelve causal conditions beyond the realms, the limitless and the unconstructed.
