4.103

Furthermore, the five practices of the perfect [teaching] are the practice of wisdom regarding the four kinds of twelvefold conditioned co-arising: the purity of inconceivable consciousness, name-and-form, and so forth is the holy practice of discipline; the purity of predispositions, existence, and so forth is the holy practice of concentration; the purity of ignorance, craving, and so forth is the holy practice of wisdom; the quiescent extinction of the twelve links, moreover being free of the former three kinds of twelve links of conditioned co-arising, is heavenly practice; being able to identify with the extinction of the former three kinds of twelve links of conditioned co-arising is practice regarding infants; and identifying with the arising of the former twelve links of conditioned co-arising is practice regarding illness.
