4.67

二禪，用雙三昧者，二禪獨有內淨、喜兩支，餘支與餘禪共，此即果報雙。而未見雙空、雙假、雙中。例如上說。

For the second dhyāna, the dual samādhi is used: the second dhyāna uniquely has the two factors of internal purity and joy, while its other factors are shared with the other dhyānas; this is the duality of retribution. Yet they have not seen dual emptiness, dual provisionality, or dual Middle. The analogy is as explained above.
