明最實位者，即圓教位也。此為十意：一、簡名義。二、明位數。三、明斷伏。四、明功用。五、明麁妙。六、明位興。七、明位廢。八、開麁顯妙。九、引經。十、妙位始終。

Clarifying the most real stages refers to the stages of the perfect teaching. This consists of ten points: first, differentiating names and meanings; second, clarifying the enumeration of stages; third, clarifying severance and suppression; fourth, clarifying function; fifth, clarifying the coarse and the subtle; sixth, clarifying the arising of the stages; seventh, clarifying the abolition of the stages; eighth, opening the coarse and revealing the subtle; ninth, citing sūtras; tenth, the beginning and end of the subtle stages.
